Hero Hostess Hop prizes - last chance to enter!

Hi everyone - it's the last day to enter for the chance to win prizes from the 2015 Hero Hostess Blog hop!

You have until 11:59 US PST (Hero Arts time in California!) today 2/22/15 to leave comments on any one of these Hero Arts blog posts:

Day 1 * Day 2 * Day 3*

or on any one of the Hero Hostess blog posts linked from those posts (including my post here from Day 2).

I've had loads of fun creating with some new 2015 Hero Arts goodies - link here to shop from the catalog; it's fabulous!!  I mentioned in my hop post that I make a lot of thank you cards - so here I am, back with a couple more quick ones.   Here's card one:

Thanks flower

This card uses a die from the Thanks Stamp & Cut - love, love love this set!  The funny part - yesterday I received an order which I placed on Tuesday for more Hero Arts 2015 goodies.  But what do I do??  I immediately ink up the free gift, a stamp from Karen at Art Plus which came with my order.  It's a darling Hero Arts flower - don't know the # because there isn't one printed on it and it's not in the online store anymore.  I hope someone will recognize it and tell me, but it matches a large HA design block I have around here somewhere.... UPDATE:  it's from a 4 piece woodblock set LP206 Words and Flowers with limited availability in the online store (see comments - thanks to my friend Heather for finding it!!)

I colored the flower image with Copic markers, used some Basic Grey Evergreen papers and a card made from Hero Arts designer layering papers, added some gems/pearls - DONE!!  This next card is an "almost" one layer.  I could've made it a one layer as I have the Thanks stamp in the same set with the Thanks die but instead I went for a die cut made from a scrap of Basic Grey paper - don't ask which line....  When I first received the Thanks Stamp & Cut set from Hero Arts, I die cut a bunch of these Thanks words from many kinds and colors of paper.  I sent some to a couple of friends to try too - I like to enable - LOL!  Here's the card:

Thanks you made my day

I made a card base from Hero Arts Swallows layering paper and stamped directly on it with a new-to-me background I'm just loving:  Tiny Snowflake Grid - this has such a happy, Nordic feel, in my opinion; it's part of the Hero Arts/Basic Grey Evergreen line.  Then I stamped one of the little phrases from the Thanks Stamp & Cut set in black over top of the background.  I proceeded to eliminate this card from one-layer status by adding the Thanks die cut - oh well...  The die cut is very flexible where the letters connect so I have able to arrange it in a bit of an arch - very fun.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope, if you entered for a prize from Hero Arts, that your name gets picked!

Wow wonderful thank you cards, Linda! I didn't even know there was a mini version of the Flower Text stamp but I did a little search and came across the image you used. It's from a set called Words and Flowers http://www.heroarts.com/products/productInfo.cfm?ItemNo=LP206. Love your colouring of the image and the gorgeous mix of pps! Love the gorgeous background on your second card and the fun way you've added the sentiment. Yes, I can definitely vouch that you are an enabler;)
